Dear Akimboo friends,
I'm a very lazy person. But I confess, missing morning yoga means I'm more impatient and frankly more grouchy all day. When I do ten minutes of yoga in the morning I feel so much better. That's why I'm very excited to share Brett's new twelve minute yoga flow with you!
On travel days or other occassions when my schedule is glitched and I miss morning yoga - I so know it.
To keep my friends, colleagues, and family happy, I owe it to myself to yoga-up every morning.
What to expect in the video
Brett's Twelve Minute Vinyasa Yoga routine starts with child's pose and then moves gently into a cat-cow stretch.
The gentle side stretches open up the ribs and warm up the spine.
Lunges are combined with cactus arms for a wonderful chest opener that feels marvelous on my back too.
Brett invites you to 'make a shelf' for your heart as you bring your arms into a cactus position. This is a gorgeous move to replay all day when doing computer or other forward leaning work.
Gentle strength twists extend the spine and open the shoulders.
Brett closes with a strength building plank and then brings it home with child's pose.
Let me know if you've made this video a favorite to re-visit regularly!
