I'm a huge fan of Dr. Amit Sood's approach to stress reduction. Author of Stress Free Living and Chair of Integrative Medicine at Mayo Clinics, Dr. Sood made a video explaining the fundamentals of inner strength.
In his short video, Increase Your Inner Strength, Dr. Sood gives an overview of how we need challenge and pressure, but not too much. Inner strength comes from a practice of resiliency.
Our ability to manage stess comes from a) our genes, b) our life situations and from c) choices we make. We can't do much about our genes or life situations, but we do have control over our choices.
